Naturparkwirte – “Schmeck den Süden” gastronomers

In the “Naturpark Südschwarzwald” hotel keepers and restaurant owners got together in order to be able to, so to speak, present the fantastic nature experience of our region to their guests on a plate. A “Naturparkwirt” offers at least three local main dishes all year round. Local means that the main ingredients for these dishes originate from the “Naturpark”. The origins of these products are stated on the menu – or you can simply ask our friendly service staff. The “Naturparkwirte” are closely connected to the landscape, to their culture and their traditions. They use local products by firm conviction because they know that our unique Black Forest landscapes can only be preserved through close partnerships between the producers, the restaurant owners and their guests.

This generates benefits for everyone:
- the farmers, butchers and bakers are able to earn a living through the sale of their produce,
- hotel and restaurant owners receive high quality, fresh foods
- and you, as our guests, can experience the unmistakable taste of traditionally prepared dishes.
